How to Make Stuffed Mushrooms
This Cheesy appetizer is as good as a party recipe and can be made with the ease perfect for the lazy afternoons.

You can combine it with a bowl of salad, bread and some wine and have it as a complete meal. Mushrooms are quite healthy and nutritious.

They are full of proteins and contain zero fat. Stuffing makes them rich in flavour and adds to the nutrition quotient.

Parmesan Stuffed Mushroom: Remove the stems of the mushrooms. Sauté 4 green onions, mushroom stems and 1 clove crushed garlic in 2 tbsp butter. Mix in 3-4 tbsp bread crumbs, 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese, ½ tsp basil and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Fill the mushroom caps with this mixture and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 350 °C.

Crab Stuffed Mushroom: Same as parmesan stuffed mushroom, except add the crab meat, 1 tbsp chopped parsley and 1 tbsp chopped pimiento, 3 tbsp mayonnaise and a pinch of mustard, while sautéing the vegetables.

Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms: Same as above, except add the cooked bacon and 1 whole egg to the sautéed vegetables.

Smoked Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms: Cook and drain 225 grams smoked sausage and keep it to cool. Remove the stems of 20-24 large mushrooms.

Mix 30 grams grated parmesan cheese and 225 grams cream cheese to the cooked sausage. Cook mushrooms at 350°C for 7 minutes. Remove and allow cooling. Fill the mushroom caps with the sausage and cheese filling and cook further for 7 minutes at 350°C.
